Ferrari Alonso renews contract until 2016



Ferrari announced on Thursday to extend the contract of Fernando Alonso to the end of 2016 season of Formula 1. Pleased with the deal, the Spanish rider said he planned to quit his career at Ferrari. Alonso arrived at Ferrari after passage by Renault, and nearly won the title of the drivers' championship in Formula 1 last year in his first season at Ferrari.
